Please study your preposition list and practice work for tomorrow's preposition test. You will be required to write 45 prepositions, cross out prepositional phrases, underline subjects and verbs, and put infinitives in parentheses.

If you did not read and answer the questions for chapter 10 over the weekend, you still need to do that. Today in class we read chapter 11, so you will need to go back and read chapter 10.

Please bring a book or magazine for SSR tomorrow!

I hope that are enjoying our reading of TKAM; Scout's narration of her childhood drama keeps us laughing, right?

For tonight, remember that you must read chapter 7 and answer the chapter questions. You must also fill in any questions you missed from class during chapters 4, 5 and 6. I will collect the questions from the first 6 chapters.

There is a reading quiz tomorrow! Also, your vocabulary is due tomorrow, so come prepared!

This week's vocab is due on Thursday, and the test is on Friday.

Today in class we read chapter 5 of To Kill a Mockingbird and answered the questions. Tomorrow I will come around and check to be sure that you have the TKAM book assigned to you. Remember that you are responsible to keep these in your possession or else you will be held responsbile to replace the book at your expense. Treat these books like any other textbook!
