root words, which are due on Thursday and the quiz will be on Friday.
For tonight, you are to read chapter 3 closely as homework. We will take a reading quiz tomorrow, and then we'll begin chapter 4 in class. Your study questions chapters 1-3 should be done by the start of class tomorrow.

Now that class presentations are done, we will go over returned work and organize binders in class tomorrow.
Remember to bring all of your English materials (binder, journal, loose papers) so that we can organize them together. This is worth 100 points toward your semester grade. Organization is key to your success in high school.
Also, be sure to have your
vocab DONE by the due date of Wednesday. We will test on Thursday this week since we are off for fall break Friday-Monday.
