While I am reading your urban legends this weekend, you should finish reading through chapter 6. Answer the ch.5 and ch. 6 questions, and do the literature logs for both chapters.

Next week will be primarily a reading week both in class and as homework, so feel free to read ahead if you have an open weekend.

Most of you should be done with the chapter 4 study questions, reading, and literature logs already as I gave you class time to work. Tomorrow we will read a few urban legends in class, and then we will write an urban legend. Remember to ask your parents about any urban legends they know from their childhoods as well as those you remember from your own.

I really liked the suggested revisions with sensory details that many of you offered in class today. Once you add in at least three exploded moments tonight as your homework, I think you'll really see your stories come to life.
